Patentability
Unpublished technology must already be patented or have a clear, identified path to filing.
Geographic Origin
Research must originate from an Egyptian research institution.
Global Application
The research must aim to solve global problems and target global markets, not solely local issues.
Vertical Fit
The research must fall within one ofAria's eight deep-tech verticals.
Freedom-to-Operate (FTO)
The technology must pass an initial FTO clearance.
Market Size (TAM)
The addressable market must be at least $500M.
TRL Entry Point
Technology Readiness Level 3–5 (scientifically validated, commercially unformed).
MRL Entry Point
Manufacturing Readiness Level 1–3 (initial manufacturing concepts identified).
CRL Entry Point
